Date: Wednesday, January 24th, 2018

Time: Afterschool – 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Topic:  MARTL Impact – Effective Strategies for Inviting Colleagues Into Our Work

Presenters: MARTLs Debra Butterfield (Gardiner Middle School), Ian McKenzie (Camden Rockport Middle School), Amanda Thompson (Medway Middle School)

Descriptor: Our first webinar of 2018 will feature three co-presenters in a “webinar panel” during which they’ll share some of the ways they’ve found effective in sharing knowledge and opportunity gleaned from our MARTL work with colleagues & leadership back at school. We all know the MARTLs come away from the regional and summer sessions loaded up with ideas, and many move forward with those ideas in their own classrooms. This webinar will be an effort to support all MARTLs in being better at “inviting their colleagues and leaders” to join them in learning about and trying new ideas. Each presenting MARTL will have 15 minutes to share stories and strategies they’ve found effective with their faculty and school leadership to share the resources and ideas from our gatherings, with time for conversation and questions at the end.

Time: Jan 24, 2018 3:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) – meeting will open at 2:30pm (Please note – In direct response to MARTL voices, this webinar will be recorded and made available for viewing after the live session.)
